West Africa decided to limit the pollution and the key to success is to stop using “dirty fuel” – the one which contains a lot of sulfur. The main supplier of such low-quality petrol is the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Sometimes European suppliers tend to mix quality fuel with the one with high Sulphur levels. Seven African countries together with Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin agreed to order only clean fuel. The import of “dirty fuel” will stop next year starting from March 2017. United Nations declared they are welcoming the idea.
