Microsoft has many connected vehicle patents and Toyota is going to benefit from them. This is the first agreement of that size for Microsoft. Toyota will receive voice recognition technology, operating system, gesture control, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity tools from Microsoft. The software company is also in search for additional automakers to share the software and there are additional companies despite Toyota already working with Microsoft. But cooperating with the auto company of that size Microsoft gains more popularity.
