While new smarter Autopilot by Tesla is still in a developing process (was expected in mid-December) the company uploads the update to the old system, mainly 8.0.2 update. It will not allow to exceed the speed limits set on the roads. In the past, Tesla users could set the autopilot to go even 5 mph faster than allowed by the speed signs. But now they no longer can do that. On freeways and divided highways, the Autopilot will go up to 90 mph. Also with the update 8.0.2 the built-in maps app will additionally show various spots a driver might care about (shopping malls, restaurants, cafes) near a Supercharger station.
